Reciprocity
Reciprocity is an incredible benefit of CYC membership. As a CYC member, you have access to over 700 yacht clubs nationwide as well as clubs in other countries. Just imagine, the next time you are in Chicago, Palm Beach, or Bermuda, stop by their yacht club and enjoy the amenities.
The Chesapeake Yacht Club is a member of the Chesapeake Bay Yacht Club Association (CBYCA). Clubs within the Association extend reciprocal privileges to CYC members. CYC is also listed in the directory of the Yachting Club of America, which affords our members reciprocal privileges at clubs around the country.
Members just need to present their CYC membership cards to be welcomed at all the clubs that honor the reciprocal agreement, including some in other countries. If a formal letter of introduction is needed, the CYC office will be happy to provide one.
